NEFBA celebrates 2002 at banquet

The Northeast Florida Builders Association celebrated 2002 with its annual banquet last month at the Southpoint Marriott.

Over 400 attended to formally install Denise Wallace of Stokes & Company as the 2003 president. She stepped into the presidency last spring when Stephen Edmonds resigned, and will serve through this year.

Top awards went to Ed Burr of LandMar, Builder/Developer of the Year, Ken Kuester of Jax Brick and Door, Leadership Award; Fred King of Kinco, Bill Soforenko Affordable Housing Award, and Jim DelVecchio of HomeSouth Mortgage, Fred King Associate of the Year.

Doug Wenzel won the “Big Spike” for recruiting the most members.
