2003 JBA

Holiday Project

Once again The Jacksonville Bar Association is sponsoring the 2003 Holiday Project. This

project is designed to help senior citizens of

Duval County. This year we need sponsors who will purchase and deliver gifts to these senior citizens. If you have been a sponsor for

this project in the past, you know what a rewarding project this really is. If you have not been a part of this great project, isn’t this year the year to help? Let’s all join in to help others and experience the true meaning of the Holidays- giving.

For a sponsor’s form,

call The Jacksonville Bar Association at 399-4486.

Notice to Attorneys, Judges and

Certified Mediators in the 4th Judicial Circuit

The Jacksonville Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) has created a committee of its members, including mediators, defense attorneys and plaintiffs’ attorneys to consider whether the Circuit’s bench and bar would benefit from the establishment of a Uniform Mediation Order.

The committee invites input from all interested parties.

The committee specifically invites all of the Circuit’s mediators

to provide a copy of their standard Order so that it can identify those provisions which are already treated uniformly.

The results of the study will be presented to Chief Judge Donald Moran for further consideration.

Please contact committee

chair Roland Williams at 223-2230, 223-4666 (fax) or e-mail, [email protected].

The Jacksonville Bar Association wishes to thank Rick Whitcher and ISA, Inc. for their assistance in the recent association computer conversion.
