Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce Chair-elect Barry Allred has announced the roster for the 2004 Board of Directors. Included are organizational
leaders from both private and public sectors.
“We are pleased to have a strong, diverse group of leaders,” said Allred. “Each of these
leaders brings a breadth and
depth of experience and knowledge that will greatly benefit
the Chamber as well as the
entire community.”
“I look forward to working with this exceptional team,” said
Chamber president Wally Lee, who also serves on the Board of Directors. “These individuals have demonstrated a genuine commitment to and passion for Jacksonville that are vital to their leadership positions.”
The board will be led by Allred, of Elkins Constructors, with Wachovia’s Bob Helms as chairman-elect.
Other officers are Jim McCollum of BellSouth, immediate past chairman, Robert White, Compass Bank, treasurer, and attorney John Caven, Foley & Lardner, general counsel.

Partners; Membership, Teala
Milton, JEA; Beaches Division, Anne Urban, Sawgrass Marriott Resort; Small Business, Melissa Hong, Visual Solutions; Education & Workforce, Hugh Greene, Baptist Health; and Rev. Frederick Newbill, First Timothy Baptist Church.
