Volunteers in Medicine-Jacksonville held a ribbon cutting ceremony last week to celebrate the opening of a clinic for the working uninsured. The clinic will offer free medical services to individuals (and their families, by appointment only) who have a regular job, no insurance and meet an income requirement set by the clinic. Modeled after a clinic in Hilton Head, VIM-Jacksonville is located in the former Paulus Music building at 41 E. Duval St. It will begin offering its services today.
