Tough sentence

Fire engines were stationed outside of the Duval County Courthouse Thursday after a man fainted in Circuit Court Judge Harry Davis’ courtroom. The man, who was originally sentenced to one year in the Duval County Jail, was ordered to reappear and failed to show. Davis put out a warrant for his arrest and the man was subsequently caught, brought back to court and given a new sentence: three years in the state penitentiary.
