The competition for the 4th Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee’s Public Good Champion Trophy has started again.

The trophy goes to the law firm “team” that provides, on average, the most pro bono hours during the year. Firm teams can be comprised of one person or 100.  Each team gets a “score” every month by dividing the total number of hours by the number of team members. This way, every firm has an equal chance to win. Last year’s recipient was Mills & Carlin, P.A. The competition started in May, and the early standings are:

1.  Harris, Guidi, et al., P.A.

2.  Mills & Carlin, P.A.

3.  Holland & Knight, P.A.

4.  Foley & Lardner LLP

If you or your law firm would like to participate in this competition, please contact Paula Brice at Harris Guidi; Geddes Anderson at Liles, Gavin, Constantino & Murphy; or Jessie Harrell at Foley & Lardner LLP.

It’s not too late to sign up and you can provide the comittee with your hours from last month to catch up.

The committee would like to see every lawyer in Jacksonville providing pro bono service. If you’re doing you part, you might as well be recognized for your efforts.
