• The Meninak Club of Jacksonville is accepting applications for its Charity Project Award. The $30,000 grant will be awarded to a local charity organization that serves underprivileged or handicapped children and must be used for a capital improvement. The deadline is July 15. • State Attorney Harry Shorstein and Sheriff John Rutherford will announce plans for a summer juvenile justice program today. The program is in its 10th year and has served more than 550 parents and children in Duval, Clay and Nassau counties.

• The Dalton Agency is adding Beall’s Department Stores to its client list. The Florida-based retailer hired Dalton to handle all of its broadcast production projects.

• Marc Little, owner of Marc Little Public Relations, has been elected to a second term as president of the Florida chapter of the National Black Public Relations Society.

• Kelly Madeen, senior vice president of Wachovia; Robin Bradbury, a retired investment executive; and Arthur W. Browning Jr., medical director of Reddy Branch Primary Care, have been named to the Baptist Health Foundation Board of Trustees for three-year terms.

• The Spina Bifida Association of Florida at Jacksonville has been awarded a $45,000 grant from The Able Trust to fund an employment outreach project for adults with disabilities.

• The Rotary Club of Jacksonville will host its President’s Party tonight at 6:30 p.m. at The University Club. The party honors President Willard Payne and President-elect Jonathan Howe. RSVP to 353-6789.
