As part of National Tourism Week, the Jacksonville & the Beaches Convention and Visitors Bureau recognized a dozen individuals who they said help the city attract and maintain a healthy tourism market. Those receiving the Hospitality Hero Award performed beyond what was required of them, from preparing special meals to calling an ambulance for a man having a heart attack.
