For the first six months of this year, the privately-owned and operated Harmony Homes has had a 295 percent increase in overall sales volume and a 350 percent increase in sales revenue when compared to the same period in 2003.

The growth, according to Melody Shacter, Vice President of Operations, is due to steady sales in Harmony Homes’ communities throughout Duval and St. Johns counties.

Shacter said that Harmony Homes recently became the first homebuilder in Jacksonville to partner with Nader’s Pest Raiders to provide a $350,000 termite bond on each new Harmony home. The bond is renewable each year for up to 5 years and includes full repair coverage.

A member of the Northeast Florida Builders Association, Harmony Homes is currently building in Cape Coral, Lindsey’s Crossing, Lindsey’s Crossing North, Hannah Stables, Sheffield Oaks, Heritage Landing at World Golf Village, and Creekside Bend. Soon to come are Morse Oaks and Morse Glen.
