Downtown headquarters,

Downtown Vision, Inc.’s Adams Street offices can best be described as having a lot of personality in less-than-spacious quarters. Located on the first floor of the Edward Ball Building, the offices boast countless downtown maps and renderings of several potential projects.

DVI Executive Director Terry Lorince does most of her work in a small office located about 30 paces from the non-profit group’s double-door entrance.

Lorince calls the office “a little boring,” but upon closer inspection one will notice that some time and effort was expended before any picture was hung or any keepsake put on display.

“Downtown revitalization is the common thread running through much of what you see here,” said Lorince. “I’m fascinated with that and with all the phenomenal developments happening right now in Jacksonville. I couldn’t think of a better time to be here.”
