SRG Homes & Neighborhoods, the builder of new historically-inspired homes in Springfield, has two homes under construction and ready for move-in this summer. Both homes feature The Dozier, a new SRG home design.
The Dozier is a two-story home with 2,346 square feet of living space. It has three bedrooms, formal and informal living and dining areas, a rocking chair front porch, a porch at the back of the house and a sleeping porch upstairs. The Dozier also has 10-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, recessed lighting, extensive crown moulding, built-in bookcases, and a coffered ceiling in the living room. The gourmet kitchen features stainless steel European appliances. There also is the option of adding a garage with storage or a garage apartment or granny suite. SRG’s homes include cement-fiber lap siding, energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, termite pre-treatments, and a security system.
The two Dozier homes under construction are located at 124 E. Fourth St., near the corner of Fourth and Market streets, and 1230 Hubbard St., near the corner of Second and Hubbard streets. The Dozier is priced starting at $359,900.
