Florida Coastal School of Law expanded its alumni network by more than 60 people when it waved good bye Saturday to its fall 2005 graduating class.
Florida Attorney General Charlie Crist congratulated the students who walked the aisle at the University of North Florida’s fine arts center. Florida’s first Republican attorney general welcomed the class into the practice of law during his commencement address.
“It is an honor and a privilege to speak to such an esteemed group of graduates and future colleagues,” said Crist. “They have received an outstanding and practical legal education from a fine institution. I look forward to seeing great things from the class of 2005.”
A steady downpour of rain outside the fine arts center couldn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the graduates who filled the middle aisles of the center’s first-floor seating. More excited were the parents and faculty members surrounding the students and in the balcony above.
