JCCI Forward celebrated its fifth birthday in style Tuesday evening, thanking its longtime members for their support while encouraging others to sign on.
“We’ve had a tremendous first five years,” said Brian Smith, JCCI president. “We hope to have five more, 50 more.”
Taking place at The Grape, the St. John’s Town Center’s answer to such popular wine bars as Simon’s on the Southbank and Vinoe’s in Ponte Vedra, the event also marked a change in officers for the young professional’s group as Kay Ehas replaced Smith as JCCI forward president.
A staffer in the Property Appraiser’s Office, Ehas said the year ahead for JCCI would be an exciting one.
“We’re going to be organizing wonderful forums and also taking on some other great projects,” she said. “It’s going to great and I look forward to working with all of you.”
