Theresa O’Donnell spends a lot of time at work. So it’s only fitting, she said, that the look of her office reminds her of home.
“It really is like my second home,” said O’Donnell, director of the City’s Special Events Office. “Knowing that, I try to surround myself with the things I love.”
Located on City Hall’s third floor, O’Donnell’s office does just that, it’s filled with antiques — a lifelong hobby of O’Donnell’s — family photos and mementos from events she helped put together.
“But sometimes I really do forget about what’s in here,” she said. “It’s only after somebody else comes in and makes a comment that I have to stop and take a look around and realize that I do have some wonderful things.”
