The Commercial Real Estate Women of Jacksonville organization is comprised of women who can get a deal done.
That’s what Sarah Kelly of Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers and past national CREW board member told the group at last month’s meeting at the Omni Hotel in downtown Jacksonville.
During the meeting several awards were given out as well.
Susan Evans of Auld & White received the Most Active New Member award, Teresa Durand of Stuebben Architecture received the Member of the Year award, Denise Henderson of ServPro received the Best Corporate Sponsor award and Melissa Gross-Arnold of Lewis Longman & Walker received the Best Networking Story of the Year award.
Kelly, who also is a past CREW Orlando chapter president, talked about the benefits of getting involved in CREW on a national level as well as attending the conventions.
“It’s all about networking and doing the deal from A to Z,” said Kelly.
She told the group that the key to having a strong chapter is to make sure you have strong speakers, sponsorship and members.
“Those three things have to be strong for a chapter to survive and grow,” she said.
