W.G. Pitts Company recently completed construction of the $1.2 million amenity center and entry gatehouse for LandMar’s Grand Haven country club community. Located on more than 1,350 acres along the Intracoastal Waterway in Palm Coast, Grand Haven is a master-planned community comprised of villages.

The 4,275-square-foot amenity center includes a fitness center, heated swimming pool, catering kitchen for luncheons or parties, card room, game room for billiards and ping-pong, conference room and new sales office.

Bloodgood Sharp Buster of Tampa designed the amenity center and gatehouse in a Florida Colonial-style, with a stucco finish, arched entrance and decorative wood brackets.

The center’s entryway features a 493-square-foot front porch. In the rear of the center residents may gather under the 1,088-square-foot covered veranda, a perfect setting for informal get togethers. In keeping with the development’s village design, the amenity center features plenty of outdoor activity areas including full-size volleyball and basketball courts, a championship croquet area, open recreation field and a playground area for young children.
