Morrison expands Northeast Florida division

Morrison Homes’ Northeast Florida division has been successful since entering the Jacksonville market four years ago and thus far in 2005 Morrison Homes has built more than 230 homes and has expanded its local operations from 61 employees to 74 employees over the past year to accommodate its growing business and plans for further expansion.

According to Division President Douglas Guy, the company has plans to build in several new communities opening in 2006 and ‘07 in Duval, Clay and St. Johns counties. Morrison Homes will build single-family homes in Clay and Duval counties and townhomes in St. Johns County.

“Morrison Homes is proud of this division’s achievements,” Guy said. “Each quarter has been more impressive than the previous one and every community upholds the Morrison Homes’ standards. As we look to the future of Morrison Homes in Northeast Florida, we are excited to expand our offerings to new communities in new areas of town.”
