Not far from the constant traffic congestion of Baymeadows Road, a manatee swims in Goodby’s Lake on its way to the St. Johns River. Towering oak trees shade 5.5 acres of the land near San Jose Boulevard and in a year, you too could have this view.
Developers of La Terrazza Luxury Condominium Homes announced the official opening of its sales center as well as modifications to the 50-unit project, recessed 100 feet from Goodby’s Lake.
“We’ve added townhomes and did a redesign of floor plans, as well as enhanced the exterior design,” said broker Douglas Young of Young Brothers Real Estate.
City Council member Art Shad said that high quality in-fill in his district like La Terrazza makes him proud, and the project fulfills a vital niche in the community.
“As the population has grown more and more, it’s important for the fabric of our community to have this type of development,” he said. “It’s needed in the marketplace.”
The 2,500- to 3,000 square-foot condos start at $490,000 and future residents will have the option of purchasing boat slips with lifts that will allow boaters access to the St. Johns River. There will be eight total.
“The starting price for our units is in the high 400’s. You just can’t find boat accessible new construction of this quality and size at this price,” said Deanna Farah, marketing director for La Terrazza.
All residents of La Terrazza will be offered an opportunity to join Epping Forest Yacht Club included with their purchase.
