State Attorney Harry Shorstein was first appointed to his post in 1991 by Gov. Lawton Chiles. He was reelected in 1996, and ran unopposed in 2000. He says he’ll run again in 2008. Shorstein’s office in the Courthouse has one feature added during his tenure that he really appreciates: blinds. It helps with the summer sun.
