Bar wraps up year with golf, tennis, election

The Jacksonville Bar Association held its annual meeting Thursday at Deerwood Country Club with an all-day affair that included golf, tennis, a long drive demonstration, dinner and Bar elections. Caroline Emery was elected president-elect and will serve under Kelly Mathis — who takes over in June for Alan Pickert — for a year. Giselle Carson, Michael Freed, Courtney Grimm, John Mills and Troy Smith were elected to two-year terms on the Bar’s board of governor’s and Ray Driver was elected to a one-year term.

The tournament and the dinner were sponsored by the Daily Record.
