An HNTB employee counted passing cars and trucks on the corner of Main and Bay streets this week. The City hired HNTB – a company that works on transportation, urban planning and other projects – to study traffic patterns in the Downtown area near the Landing. Marcy Cook, a spokesperson for public works, said the City doesn’t have any plans in mind yet. “We’re in the information gathering process,” said Cook.
