Stetson Professor of Law Emeritus Michael Swygert has written a book about the Stetson University College of Law that traces the entire history the oldest law school in the state. The book is called “Florida’s First Law School: A History of Stetson University College of Law” and it was co-authored by former Dean W. Gary Vause (1999-2003) who died before the book was published. The school opened in 1900.
