Last week, developers of The Strand and The Peninsula on the Southbank held a VIP reception for Realtors, mortgage brokers and others in the real estate field. Marv Greene (left), senior vice president of the Auchter Company and senior project manager of The Strand, and Granvil Tracy, president and CEO of American Land Ventures — the Miami-based company building both towers — attended the event. A Realtors-only event is set for tonight. Originally built as apartments, The Strand condominiums officially go on sale Saturday.
