Transworld Business Brokers, based in Fort Lauderdale, formally opened its 10th and newest office in Jacksonville earlier this month. The new office, Transworld Business Brokers of North Florida, is located at 7545 Centurion Parkway in Deerwood and is the first Jacksonville branch.
“We are confident that the success we’ve had in other parts of the state will be matched and even surpassed in Jacksonville”, said Frank Feiler, vice president of development. “The activity and business buzz in the Jacksonville area is steady and we anticipate significant transactions, both in quantity of business changing hands as well as in the size of the businesses.”
The new office is 2,200 square feet and has the ability to accommodate 14 brokers. More than 50 business people and local officials attended the event.
At the end of June, Transworld Business Brokers purchased Sunbelt Business Brokers of Jacksonville & St. Augustine and took over both of those offices. St. Augustine was the ninth office opening for the company.
“We think Jacksonville is an expanding market and going to be our future,” said Andrew Cagnetta, president of Transworld. “Our strategic plan is to go statewide and we’re looking forward to it. I personally love the area and think it’s one of the nicest in Florida.”
