As Art Walk becomes more popular, the monthly event doesn’t just grow in numbers, the scope of Art Walk also seems to be expanding. That was never more evident than on Wednesday evening when a huge crowd took the four-hour, self-guided tour. At the Landing kids painted pumpkins, Jacksonville University students demonstrated glass blowing on the banks of the river, the T-U Center held the public unveiling of “Lyrical Light” that was created by JU faculty and students and everyone enjoyed plenty of local art. This month, there was also an international flavor as the local La Union de Mexicanos presented Dia De Los Muertos at 11 E. Things wrapped up with and after-party at the Twisted Martini.
