Japan in Jacksonville

The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens is showcasing a collection of 19th Century Japanese woodblock prints to highlight the museum’s Asian art collection. “Japan in Jacksonville: The Cummer Collection of Japanese Prints” will be on display through Nov. 12. This 1886 print is by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi and is called “100 Aspects of the Moon: Moon of the pleasure quarters.” It’s from the Dennis C. Hayes Collection. About 600 people attended the opening reception Wednesday night.
