Work is quickly wrapping up on what was the Sea Turtle hotel in Atlantic Beach. One Ocean Resort Hotel and Spa will open in February as the first luxury resort in The Gallery collection. The renovated resort will feature 193 guest rooms, a spa, fine dining and The Gallery brand’s trademark docent service, all designed to attract business and leisure travelers alike.
“One Ocean will have a distinctive personality reflecting the natural beauty and carefree attitude of its surroundings,” said Managing Director Sileshi Mengiste. “Our guests will experience a stay like no other as they’re pampered by our personal docents to insure that we live up to our mantra, ‘Always in Your Element.’”
Specially selected docents trained in hospitality will serve as guests’ personal concierges providing the highest quality of service while meeting special requests and individual preferences, from drink selections to local events to personal comfort.
One Ocean Resort will have over 8,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, Wi-Fi in all meeting areas, team building programs and other resources. The resort’s venue and docent services will also be available for weddings and special events.
