Council Auditor Kirk Sherman recently released a report of recent discretionary funds allocated by City Council members to pay for public works and other projects in their districts during the period of July 1-Sept. 30.

Council member Johnny Gaffney has allocated the most with $213,352 for several projects, such as Arlington Road Town Center, in his Dist. 7. Art Graham allocated $40,000 for the San Pablo Elementary Playground in Dist. 13; Art Shad allocated $64,040 for several projects, including the FEC Dog Park, in Dist. 5; Michael Corrigan allocated $23,530 for projects in Dist. 14; and Mia Jones allocated $9,084 for two projects in Dist. 10.

Sherman also reported the remaining balances in each district as of Sept. 30. The totals are:

• Clay Yarborough, Dist. 1 — $584,536

• Bill Bishop, Dist. 2 — $31,952

• Richard Clark, Dist. 3 — $442,473

• Don Redman, Dist. 4 — $1,103

• Art Shad, Dist. 5 — $0

• Jack Webb, Dist. 6 — $8,651

• Johnny Gaffney, Dist. 7 — $244,754

• Denise Lee, Dist. 8 — $0

• Warren Jones, Dist. 9 — $0

• Mia Jones, Dist. 10 — $1,113,549

• Ray Holt, Dist. 11 — $471

• Daniel Davis, Dist. 12 — $172,777

• Art Graham, Dist. 13 — $287,431

• Michael Corrigan, Dist. 14 — $816,521
