• Looney Ricks Kiss has added two staff members to its Jacksonville studio. Jeremy Sharp is an intern architect in the firm’s mixed-use studio. He earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Notre Dame and previously worked with an architecture firm in Washington, D.C. Milan Velimirovic has also joined LRK as an intern architect. He has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Sarajevo in Bosnia-Herzegovina and a master’s degree in computer information systems from the University of Phoenix. Looney Ricks Kiss is an architecture, planning and interiors firm with offices in Memphis, Orlando, Rosemary Beach, Jacksonville, Nashville, Dallas and Princeton, N.J.
• The Landing is hosting a Downtown Resident Party for all Downtown residents July 12 from 6-10 p.m. in the Landing’s Courtyard. There will be free food and drinks as well as free live entertainment. • The new eatery at the corner of Laura and Adams streets is called the Bread & Butter Cafe. The owner said if the City approves everything, he’ll open some time in the next two weeks.
• No Jacksonville Waterways Commission meeting this month. The next scheduled meeting is set for Aug. 2 in the Council Chambers.
• This year’s “Taste of the NFL” is Sept. 20 in the Crown Royal Touchdown Club West. The six-course dinner and wine event costs $250 and the proceeds go to the Lutheran Social Services Second Harvest Food Bank. For more information, call 739-7074.

• Remember Joey Kelly, who was the City Council spokesperson several years ago? She’s now the director of external relations for Delray Beach-based Ascot Development.
• La Cena owner Jerry Moran is on vacation. The restaurant will reopen July 18.
• This weekend’s Cosmic Concert schedule at the Museum of Science and History features Pink Floyd. “Wish You Were Here” is at 8 p.m., “Dark Side of the Moon” is at 9 p.m. and “Pink Floyd: The Wall” is at 10:30 p.m. All concerts cost $7 except “Pink Floyd: The Wall” which costs $9.
