The banner that was used as the backdrop for the City Council installation ceremony at the T-U Center June 28 was just too striking to be packed up and never seen again. The 25-foot by 23-foot artwork was created by Patrick Golden at Burdette Ketchum. The original plan was to display it in the Council chambers at City Hall, but it was too big to fit in the room, so it has been installed in the Atrium where it hangs from the second-floor railing to just above the doors to the chambers. The banner will be exhibited for the next year.
