The Jacksonville Suns and the Museum of Science & History will be staples in households all over Northeast Florida for the next year. When the 2007-08 AT&T Real White Pages come out later this week, the cover will feature the Suns (far right) while the museum will be on the cover of the Jacksonville Real Yellow Pages Companion book (right).

AT&T Advertising and Publishing estimates that almost 550,000 of the directories will be distributed to area residents and businesses over the next four weeks.

“We are proud to feature the Jacksonville Suns on the first AT&T-branded Real White pages directory for Jacksonville,” said Jim Dotsikas, regional sales manager for AT&T Real Yellow Pages.

AT&T and the Suns will unveil the new directory Friday night when the Suns host the Chattanooga Lookouts at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Saturday at 1 p.m., MOSH and AT&T will partner to unveil the companion directory cover at the museum’s “One & Only” kids event.

Suns General Manager Kirk Goodman said being on the cover is a great way to keep the Suns visible every day, whether it’s baseball season or not.

“We are excited that the Jacksonville Suns will appear on the 2007 - 2008 directory cover,” said Goodman. “This means that the Jacksonville Suns will be front and center anytime someone picks up one of these directories. We are pleased that AT&T Real White Pages chose to highlight both our facilities and our strong presence in the Jacksonville community.”

Goodman said the Suns did not pay to be on the cover.
