More than 100 building construction management students from the University of North Florida worked two weekends in November to replace a roof on the Boys’ Home 10,000-square-foot dormitory in Arlington.
Many of the students are members of the Northeast Florida Builders Association-UNF student chapter, headed by senior Adam Brang, and the National Association of Home Builders’ Home Builders Institute student chapter.
NEFBA Builders Care provided project direction and Dr. Dave Dubbelde supervised the student construction crew.
The students completed other projects at the facility in addition to re-roofing the dormitory.
