Workers finish cutting and installing the last bricks along the east portion of the Main Street sidewalk between Monroe and Duval streets. That section just reopened to pedestrians after being closed since March for work on a planned pocket park where a former parking lot used to sit. City officials said the entire $1.93-million project, which also includes streetscape improvements along Main Street from Forsyth to Union, will be complete by mid-November.
