IMPACTjax, the young professionals program of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce, has announced its 2009 leadership team. The team will be led by Chair Kristen Nimnicht of Lat Purser & Associates and Chair-Elect Steve Kowkabany of Neptune Fire Protection Engineering.
Several members of the leadership team will serve as committee chairs:
• Erik Dellenback, Professional Development Committee, Gator Bowl Association
• Suzie Hutto, Social and Cultural Committee, CSX
• Stephanie Holmes, Service and Giving Committee, CSX
• Ben Parker, Governmental Affairs Committee, Fidelity Investments
• Raychel George, Membership Services Committee, Clockwork Marketing Services
“We are excited to announce our 2009 Leadership Team and look forward to a great year ahead,” said Nimnicht. “Each new member brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership ability to this organization, which will result in tremendous progress for IMPACTjax and the city.”
With more than 600 members, IMPACTjax serves a built-in network of contacts for 21-35 year olds who currently live in the Jacksonville area, or are considering the First Coast as a place to move. Through focusing its energies on networking, volunteerism, public policy, personal and professional development, and economic development in the city, IMPACTjax engages its members in activities that keep them connected to Jacksonville.
