While the presidential election is garnering the national headlines, 2008 is a very active election year on both the state and local level here in Jacksonville. Although it’s not a mayoral or City Council election year, there are plenty of seats open and plenty of candidates have already filed to run, although several as still unopposed.

The following is a list of those seats and candidates, party affiliation as well as how much campaign money has been raised if applicable.
