Judicial hopefuls and other candidates for office have until today at noon to qualify for Circuit Court or County Court. According to the state elections office, as of 7 a.m. today, all of the Circuit and County Court incumbents had qualified as have several other judicial candidates. Thursday, Matthew Shirk qualified to run for Public Defender against incumbent Bill White and Jay McGovern qualified for U.S. Rep. and will run against incumbent Ander Crenshaw.
