The Fourth Judicial Circuit will get at least four new judges this fall and two of them won’t have to mount campaigns. Jim Daniel is the only qualifier for Circuit Court Judge Fred Buttner, who is retiring, and Jeff Morrow has qualified to replace Circuit Court Judge Aaron Bowden, who is also retiring.
Fred Buttner Jr. and Virginia Norton have qualified to run for the seat occupied by Circuit Court Judge Bernard Nachman, who is retiring, and Mark Hulsey III and Adrian Soud have qualified to replace Circuit Court Judge Charles Mitchell, who is also retiring at the end of the year.
