This year’s Laurel Awards were much like the board game “Clue” with attendees helping to solve the murder mystery throughout the event. The theme this year was Competition or Murder — a Laurel Mystery.
The event was held last month at the Hyatt in downtown Jacksonville. Amanda Randolph, executive director of SMC said there were 320 attendees — less than last year’s turnout of 520.
“It’s just a sign of the times,” she said.
