Bill Paul of Ladera Construction Group and a member of the Tampa Bay Builders Association has been named Builder of the Year by the Florida Home Builders Association.
He is a past president of his local association, served as an Area Vice President, has chaired FHBA’s Governmental Affairs Committee and has chaired FHBA’s Foundation.
In 2007, he chaired the National Association of Home Builders Home Builders Institute.
Other awards:
Associate of the Year: Suzanne Graham, Charlotte-DeSoto BIA. She is an FHBA Life Director, has served as an FHBA Area Associate Vice President, and will be FHBA’s next Governmental Affairs Committee Chair.
Remodeler of the Year: Ed Dion, Tallahassee BA. He has twice served his association as president and chaired his local Remodelers Council three years. He was twice named Builder of the Year and in 1995, he was inducted into his local association’s Hall of Fame.
Dick Baker Award: Richard Reynolds. HBA of Manatee County.
Reynolds was honored for his professionalism and his work on the Florida Building Code, where he fought for provisions that could help builders build more efficiently and cost-effectively and staunchly opposed measures that would make it more difficult to produce affordable housing.
