It was a good September for Wendell Davis’ candidacy — he won TWO political offices.
Davis first was chosen president-elect of the Florida Association of Realtors, then returned to his Orange Park home to find that his only opposition for a seat on the Clay County commission had withdrawn.
Davis, the Regional Vice President of the Property Management Division at Watson Realty, will become FAR president in 2010 after serving in the coming year under President Cynthia Shelton of Orlando.
He’ll take his Clay seat soon, beating two other Republicans in the primary and getting a free ride in the general election after a write-in candidate withdrew.
