McCain returns to former home

There weren’t any pancakes when Sen. John McCain (with his wife Cindy) returned to Jacksonville Monday, but there was plenty of enthusiasm for the Republican presidential hopeful’s campaign. Originally planned as a pancake breakfast at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds, McCain’s campaign stop had to be moved to the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena due to the requests for tickets. Gov. Charlie Crist and former governors Jeb Bush and Bob Martinez were a few of the McCain supporters in attendance.
