First Guaranty Bank names new executives

First Guaranty Bank has added two officers to its management staff.

Terrell Cassada has joined the bank as senior vice president and chief information officer and Kimberly Willette was appointed assistant vice president and sales and service manager.

“With their diverse management experience and depth in their respective fields, Terrell and Kimberly will be assets to our team and customers,” said Don D. Roberts, the bank’s president.

Cassada comes to First Guaranty from Lydian Technology Group where he was senior vice president of product development and architecture. With a degree in computer information systems and business administration from Carson-Newman College, Cassada brings more than 15 years of experience in all aspects of technology development and deployment. In his new position with First Guaranty, he is responsible for the Technology Group, including all technology deployment, network and systems support functions, vendor relationships and disaster recovery activities. His experience also includes previous positions for mortgage and financial institutions including Merrill Lynch and Barnett Bank.

Willette graduated from Florida State University with a degree in political science, she began her banking career with Nations Bank/Bank of America in its management training program where she was promoted to banking center manager. With 14 years of experience, Willette held previous positions with Bank of America and most recently Colonial Bank, where she served as South Florida Sales and Leadership Trainer.
