AT&T presented Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida with a $10,000 check Monday in Hemming Plaza for the organization to purchase tickets to the Dec. 17 Jaguars game against the Indianapolis Colts. AT&T made the contribution in support of Touchdown Jacksonville, an organization comprised of local community leaders and Jacksonville Jaguars supporters that have created the “Revive the Pride” initiative designed to ensure the long-term viability of the Jaguars in Jacksonville.

In recent weeks, Mayor John Peyton and Touchdown Jacksonville have called upon businesses to act in support of this goal through ticket purchases and promotions for the Dec. 17 nationally televised game. Many businesses have shown support through ticket purchases and game promotion.

“Local businesses have shown a strong response to Touchdown Jacksonville’s call to action. AT&T has stepped up to the plate and inspired other corporations to provide support to the cause in any way possible,” said City Council President Richard Clark.

“AT&T understands the importance of the Jacksonville Jaguars to our community,” said Heather Duncan, regional director, External Affairs of AT&T. “We are proud to provide matches of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida with a Jaguar game day experience while supporting the cause of Touchdown Jacksonville for the viability of the team in our city.”
