Before more than 150 of his employees, longtime business leader Bill Gay (left) of W.W. Gay Mechanical Contractor Inc. was awarded the 2009 Spirit “Lifetime Achievement Award,” on Friday. The award is one of Bailey Publishing & Communications’ Spirit awards, which are presented to members of the real estate and building community in Northeast Florida for various outstanding examples of service, passion, integrity, respect, initiative and teamwork. “It’s truly a great honor and moment for me to receive this,” said Gay, who was presented the award by Bailey Publishing President Jim Bailey.
