Rutenberg wins NAHB position

Gainesville builder Barry Rutenberg is on the National Association of Home Builders’ leadership ladder with his election to the post of third vice chairman of the association.

He won the position last month in the annual elections, which was held at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.

Taking the helm as NAHB’s chairman this year is Joe Robson, a Tulsa, Okla.-based builder. Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based builder Bob Jones is the first vice chairman and builder Bob Nielsen of reno, Nev. Is the third vice chairman.
