The group of 47 attorneys sworn in to the Middle District Court of Florida were a mixture of new practitioners at the federal level and others familiar with the federal court who forgot to pay their renewal fee to the court. After paying an $165 admission fee when first sworn into the court, attorneys are required to pay a $20 renewal fee every even-numbered year. The fee is due July 15 of those years.
