City workers go through a manhole to inspect underground for the cause of a giant sinkhole on W. Bay Street near the Police Memorial Building Monday morning. Workers say the sinkhole occured over the weekend and is at least four feet deep and around two feet in diameter. The road near the pit remains open, but is heavily barricaded and blocked by trucks and workers.
