Duggan sets schedule through February

At the last meeting of the Charter Revision Commission, chair Wyman Duggan said it would be wise for the Commission to begin meeting on a weekly basis in an effort to the get the pressing business of the Commission completed.

Tuesday, Duggan released the weekly meeting schedule that begins Oct. 15 and ends Feb. 25. The meetings start at 9 a.m. There isn’t a meeting scheduled for the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year’s. The meetings are open to the public and subject to the state’s Sunshine Laws.

The schedule, including meeting location, is a follows:

• Oct. 15 — City Council Conference Room A in the Council offices at City Hall

• Oct. 22 — Lynwood Roberts Room on the first floor at City Hall

• Oct. 29 — City Council Chambers on the first floor at City Hall

• Nov. 5 — Council Chambers

• Nov. 12 — Lynwood Roberts Room

• Nov. 19 — Lynwood Roberts Room

• Dec. 3 — Council Chambers

• Dec. 10 — Lynwood Roberts Room

• Dec. 17 — Council Chambers

• Jan. 7 — Council Chambers

• Jan. 14 — Lynwood Roberts Room
