From “Yappy Hour” to this year’s Florida-Georgia game set for Halloween, the Landing has something for everyone this month. In addition to live bands every weekend, look for the grand opening of Chicago Pizza and Village Bread.

According to Landing Director of Communications Rachel Nudge, details surrounding the events associated with the Florida-Georgia game are still being worked out.

Friday

The Gator Country Fall Concert Series at at 8 p.m. featuring live, free performances by national country recording artists Joe Nichols and Trent Tomlinson

Saturday

Stampede 8 Mustang & Ford Show from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Enjoy hundreds of Mustangs and Fords at the annual car and truck show for the Modern Mustangs of Jacksonville (MMJax). Live music by the Rick Arcusa Band, prizes, raffles and 50/50 drawing with all proceeds benefiting the Animal Rescue Movement (ARM).

Live entertainment in the Courtyard with Spanky The Band from 8 p.m.–1 a.m.

Sunday

Jaguars Home Game Party with live music by Brian Turner & Riptide from 4–8 p.m. Drink specials all night long and a free draft or soda for each person with their game ticket stub.

Wednesday

Chrome Bike Show & People’s Choice Awards with live music by Sugar Bear from 5–9 p.m. Join the Jacksonville and Orange Park HOG Chapters for a night of bikes, music and fun. Register in the Courtyard to receive a ticket to cast your vote for your favorite HOG and receive a free draft courtesy of Koja Sushi.

Oct. 9

Live entertainment in the Courtyard with A1A North from 8 p.m.-1

Oct. 10

First Coast Premiere Wine Extravaganza from 3 -7:30 p.m. benefiting The Child Cancer Fund. A ticket is required to experience more than 150 wines from all around the world, presented by Premier Beverage Company, and food samplings from dozens of Jacksonville restaurants. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting www.childcancerfund.org. For more information, call 396-4223. VIP Admission (access to VIP tent) tickets are $75 and General Admission is $50.

Oct. 17

6th Annual Art in the Park presented by JaxParks from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Enjoy this unique, interactive art festival for all ages. Get your hands dirty on the pottery wheel, color your day with paint on paper, engineer a special craft, shimmy with local dance celebrities and more.

Live entertainment in the Courtyard with George Aspinall from noon-4 p.m., the Rhythm Cure Band from 5–9 p.m. and Freeze Frame from 9:30 p.m.–1:30 a.m.

Oct. 18

Yappy Hour “Howl-o-ween” Party! from 4-7 p.m. Enjoy the final Yappy Hour of the year with a costume party just made for the pooches. Trick-or-TREATing around the property, a costume contest and The Scariest Howl-er Award. Live music by the George Aspinall Band till 8 p.m., pet expo, games, prizes, drink specials and more.

Oct. 23

Live entertainment in the Courtyard with Hardwired from 8 p.m.–1 a.m.

Oct. 24

Live entertainment in the Courtyard with Hipp Street from 8 p.m.–1 a.m.

Oct. 25

Live entertainment in the Courtyard from Brian Turner & Riptide from 4–8 p.m.
