How did you get involved?

Participated and/or let others know that I was interested.

How can someone else get involved?

There are hundreds of good causes that need volunteers. For the Boy Scouts contact Ed Martin at 388-0591 or e-mail him at [email protected] For others call me at 725-0905.

What have you learned/achieved through the experience?

We can all influence youth to be good contributing citizens and make lifelong friendships while we are doing it. Through Rotary and Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, I’ve gained a personal satisfaction by being able to help other people. Through all of my experiences I’ve found that you can pick up different outlooks from the people you meet through volunteering. Helping business and bringing dollars into the community.

What was the last book you read or are reading?

“Seven Seasons of the Man in the Mirror” by Patrick Morley.
